Dash kits

Was looking to spuce up the inside of my 2012 Xb seen some dash kits and a few other part but they all look like they are peel and stick. Anyone ever used these before and how well do they hold up?

I just ordered the RVinyl dash kit (on ebay) for my xB. This is the same brand the I had installed on my Matrix. Their kits are well cut and takes a little patience when I was installing them. There were some pieces I didn't put on, just a personal preference cause I didn't like where they were (i.e. door strip, passenger side dash strip). After a few years, I didn't notice any fading or peeling. For the price, its not bad. If you would rather save and spend more, get the real plastic/carbon dash kits instead.

Beware: If you get a dash kit you will need properly clean the area with alcohol + to purchase 1/2 pint 3M 94 primer $22.00 thru Amazon.com to help with the adhesion or it will suck. The dash kit dealers will send u include some .02 ounce primer sticks, but they are not enough for all your parts application + some come dried out or they have little liquid inside for use . So u will need more if u want a proper adhesion. After you apply 3M 94 primer, you wait 5 mins to dry + stick on your kit. Be careful as the kit will now have an excellent bond if prepped right + may be hard to pull up to re adjust your kits alignment.

If you don't buy extra primer, your kit can start to lift up down the road on the edges. Also, I use 3M 94 primer with the Red 3M double sided tape for any install. It's like night + day on the bonding, like crazy glue.

Good Luck.......

are there any places near you that do vinyl wraps? I think the whole panel wrapped would look better than the stick on kits. jmo.
