Next week I am planning on buying new wheels on my BSP 09 scion xb

In addition to the wheels I am also purchasing Tanabe DF210's

So I have come to the conclusion of these two wheels in: 16x8 0 offset on stock tires

damn they are both going to look sick on your car for sure....imo you can't go wrong with either one

 

The thing is I wonder if the polish lip is going to show more of the depth of the lip other then the matte black wheel. BUT I do want my car to be all black... So I am contemplating

 

No Chrome?

 

my vote is for the black and red ones. I think a +15 offset would would look better though.

the 1st one was my top choice. what kind of tuner lug size should I get?

 

12x1.5 thread pitch on the lug nuts.

Liked the second ones at first but the all-black is very dramatic. Just says, "POWWWWWER!"

 

Go with the first ones. I don't think you can even get the second ones bigger than a 16" with a 0 offset.

 

FYI with DF210's you will rub any time you hit any bump with the 0 offset and stock tires. Others have tried it.

 

I am very aware of that. Will have to roll fenders and drive careful. lol

 

Yeah I was going to get the xxr's but decided against it. I had the sportmax 501's on my 1st gen didn't have any problems except when I had people in the back then would rub a little on bumps. The 512 XXR's look so good but don't want to deal with it. Now I'm looking for some new wheels for my 2nd gen 17x 7.5 35 offset wheels but having a hard time finding what I want. I'm running 17x 7.5 40 offset now so I'll run these till I find what I want. Good luck with the XXR's they do really look great.

The 1st ones would look best on your xb. I think an all black wheel would look best.
