You know, I remember all the GTO "purists" were up in arms over the fact that the hollowed Pontiac GTO name was being used for an "import" (Holden Monaro) but the 2004-2006 GTO was mean looking and even in stock form with no mods was quick. To me who is a pontiac and oldsmobile fan, the 04-06 GTO embodied the spirit of the original GTO very nicely.

Every show I entered all of the imports argued with me... I would look around at the cars and I had the only vehicle in there that could be a Pontiac (American class) or I would just tell them *" HEY my car is from Australia, it was IMPORTED"* and they would let me into the import custom class HAHA!

Tried to respond three times, but the site denied me ! I'm no participant at shows and am a definite fan of great looking cars, but my read from this is unless my goal is to get into some girls pants, I can forget about it. Not a serious problem, but is that what the serious competitors are about?

Actually I just did it because I like to go fast and burn tires, my feeling of being in a powerfully explosive machine brings me closer to god . Well and I would have to agree with you, cute girls do tend to fall in your lap as well.

Damn, there are some fine looking machines on this topic (hope their function lives up to their appearance) and I congratulate the owners on their love for their rides !
