HI all...new to the site so thank you in advance for any info on this topic. I buying a 2013 xB anniversary edition but the electroluminescent dash panel in front of the passenger seat no longer lights up. Does anyone have any info on how to fix it? Can it be replaced?

Check the switch is turned on. There is an on/off rocker switch at the panel below the steering wheel, near the TPMS reset switch. The EL panel has some wiring and connectors, an extra inverter module on the passenger's side.
If an ape worked on the airbags, they might have pulled out a connector to the inverter module.
