Fuel Tank Capacity

On this site: http://consumerguideauto.howstuffwor...cion-xb-13.htm

It says it has Approx. 14 gallon Fuel tank. Everytime i fill it up, it only fils up to about 10.5 gallons. It was close to empty also before i filled it up. Is anyone only getting up to 10 gallons like me?

If you are filling up as soon as your low fuel light comes on, that is the reason. It's there to give you a heads up before you run out of fuel. Not only that, running on really low fuel is bad for the fuel pump.

Hmmmm, i actually never saw the light come on, i just fill it up as soon as it hits the last segment before it reaches E. Good to know though, thanks for the answers.
