Replacement strut assemblies

Replacement strut assemblies
Has anyone tried the replacement strut assemblies sold by RockAuto, Summit Racing, etc?
I've 135k miles on my 08 xB and am considering replacing struts and rear shocks. One path would be to use KYB struts and shocks, another the TRD kit (with stock springs as I don't want the car any lower)
with complete rebuild of the strut assemblies (possibly including replacing the springs as well). Another option is the buy the full strut assembly and just bolt it in place.
I've not found many reviews and wondered if anyone here had experience with any of this assemblies?
