I'm leaning towards option #2 myself...

Quick update, my xB finally has the proper 6.1" Pioneer Touchscreen that was listed on the buildsheet. Toyota of Greer in SC where I live, has been wonderful in resolving the situation, and I couldn't be happier. I've bought both of my xB's from there, and have yet to meet another dealership that is more friendly, professional, and honest than these guys.

Also took the xB to my buddies paint shop and after 5 mins and $0 my xB no longer has pinstripes!

Will post pics later.

Emanuel, glad to see everything has been resolved. Also, i think it's nuts (in a good way) that you're dropping every car you have come across :D l0l. I am with you on #2 for the direction you want to go in with your 2013.

re: pinstriping - i can appreciate it's value but feel that it looks better older cars. i feel the same way about the mock wood-trim aftermarket kits. but i digress.

and just a reminder although you may already know this - you have 5 complimentary oil changes with Scion that you can use within 2 years of your purchase date.

A car just isn't right unless it's closer to the earth

Pinstriping shouldn't be on a car that built after 1970. And I'm sure that I won't remember the complimentary oil changes.
I actually had 2 yrs/48000 miles of oil changes in the Ford Focus, but they weren't free had to pay for them...

Here are some pics of the post pin striping and new radio...

Also found a smoking deal on a set of 5Zigen FN01RC wheels locally on craigslist. They are 18x9.5'' +35 with some crappy tires. The guy wants $450 for them, I'm trying to trade him a shotgun for them, we shall see if the deal goes through...

that's right gs - it's one of the many small changes over the 2013. the chrome dials are from the Scion iQ if i'm not mistaken.

I remember reading someone doing those from the iQ. But I did not want the lighting to be a different color. I believe the iQ were green.

Yeah, I've noticed some subtle differences in the 13 than the 11/12 years...Chrome HVAC ***** really stand out, as well as the gloss black trim pieces at the bottom of the rear/front bumpers...

So I've got some updates...

I went ahead and Paypal'd a guy in Cali for his lightly used Megan Coilovers and they'll ship tomorrow. Got a pretty good deal, paid a little more than I wanted, but it was less than the $800+ new they are going for.

I did make an impulse purchase and scored a set of 16x8'' Mitsubishi 3000GT 5 spoke wheels for $100. The wheels came with two usable 225/50 tires on them which I'll probably flip and make a quick $40 on. The offsets on the rims are +46, but I probably won't run them there. I was thinking of getting a set of hubcentric/wheelcentric spacers from Motor Sport Tech. Thinking of getting 21mm spacers for the front and 26mm for the rear to bring the final specs to 25/20 F/R.

I'll reuse my 205/55/16's that have less than 4k miles on them now, and I should be good to go for a while. Come tax season, might look into getting a set of 17's or 18's then.

Stay tuned in the next few weeks for updated pics!

No updates, except that all the parts are sitting in my garage due to the weather and my laziness for working on the xB. Bad news though, my recently purchased Megan coils will be going up for sale...

As much as I want a slammed xB, I've got my eye on other hobbies right now, plus the fact that once my 9 month old boy is old enough to sit comfortably in a booster seat (3 years from now), I've talked to my wife and come to the conclusion that I will be buying an actual performance car. Albeit a performance car with seating for 4. I've really got my eye on a current gen Challenger R/T or maybe a new Subaru WRX. I dunno, I'm still going to get some parts on the xB for the time being, but I think that I'll sell the coilovers for now and spend that money on something I really need...

I would be willing to trade my coilovers for some lowering springs and cash though...

your '09 has been my favorite car lately. I've been looking for an SVT lip for a while now, Mach 1 Mustang lips are so much easier to find but I loved the look of the SVT. I heard of people modding WRX lips to go on focus but wasn't sure if I wanted to get into that. Anyway, cant wait to see how your new xB turns out.

Scoop up the SVT lip directly from the dealer. That's what I did. Coworker of mine used to work for a local Ford dealer, I got hooked up.

Best thing, no arbitrary shipping charges.

^^^What he said. Although, I still have connections on my old Focus forum, and there is a TRD Sparks of the Ford world as well. THat's how I got my SVT lip for my old 09.

A little update for you guys:

Sold the coilovers, promptly snagged a set of 18x8 +32 Toyota XRunner rims for my xB. Got a good deal on them, looking to get a set of 225/40's to mount. I was planning on using some 20mm Eibach spacers that I bought from here on the rears, but I think that 18x8 +12 with a 225/40 might be a little much.
I also went ahead and bought and installed a Tsudo N1 catback exhaust and am loving it so far. A little loud, but it sounds great and looks amazing on my 13.
And finally, I buckled and bought a set of HID's for the low beams. I had them on my old 09 and I miss the light output. Once the weather warms up a bit, I'll take off my OEM fog lights and try painting them with a can of Krylon Yellow Stained Glass that I've had at my house for almost two years. Never tried painting fog lights, but I'm sick of burning through Lamin-X covers....

Pics to come...

Finally got some tires on my XRunner wheels and mounted them up. Final specs: 18x8" +32 w/ 225/40 on Tein STechs. I've got some 20mm spacers
for the rear that I haven't mounted yet, but I think they might be a little too big, would love to trade somebody for their 10mm spacers instead...

My new setup is more of a comfortable ride, kind of OEM+...

Looking to possibly add some more suspension pieces to the xB here in the near future i.e. Rear sway bar, Subframe brace, trunk brace, front strut bar.
Probably will try and snag a header too and some other parts here and there. Right now I'm just enjoying the ride and the overall simplicity of my 13 xB compared to my 09...
