HELP squealing noise from the rear

Got a 2012 xb but it already has a squeaking noise while driving. I read up somewhere that the rear seat brackets are the cause and loosening and adjusting them will make it go away. Anyone know anything about this and a link on how to fix it? Thanks

Does the noise appear to be coming from immediately behind you, or further back -- centered or more to the sides? Is it heard only with rear seat occupants, or at other times as well? Is it a continual squeak, occasional squeak, or not really a squeak, but something else?

It's occasional, sounds like a squeak but not sure. This mornin I drove it with the rear seats folded down and it didnt make any noise. i dont know if i should just grease the brackets to see if that will work

Last time I had the problem the rear seat wasn't latched all the way.. something so simple drove me so damn crazy..

Maybe part of the seat is contacting with the metal latch when they are upright. I'd try greasing it for sure to see if there is any improvement.

I haven't heard about this problem before ever on these forums, so it might be just a slight hiccup with your car.
