The xB2 with auto trans/rear-end gearing will run 90 mph all day long, and with 17" fronts and 18" rears on NF springs it's rock solid... driving on a straight highway* that is.

*Note: driver on a closed course, do not attempt this on public roadways.

Well, I think for cruising, the auto has a definite advantage over the manual, but I'm terminally concerned with MPG and my experience of highway traffic is those idiots travel way too close to each other for any kind of safety ! Let's just say non-highway driving is a better fit for me, but in a pinch, there's always the right lane !

i believe 80 is the highest...i have no ambition to speed test my aerodynamic lacking brick.

I used to haul ___ in my truck, im still paying my insurance and tickets off. I bought the xB to cruise and to keep me out of trouble. So far its done pretty good.

I travel a lot for work and have a 2010 5 speed xB with all TRD parts. I hit 110-115 daily going in-between my stores. I have done this on stock tires and rims and also on my 18".
After about 115 the xB really struggles to push it farther but I have had it to 121 before. I have had 2 previous tC which was much easier to reach the 120.
Have pics of both if I get my Photobucket account back up.
