How many miles are on your xB2?

Just thought it'd be interesting to have a thread like this in the xB2 lounge like the one in the tC lounge, searched and I don't think there's one made yet: How many miles are on your xB2? What year is it and how long have you had it?

'09 BSP xB2 with 13,000 on the ODO, had it since June '09.

oreoremix42 06-10-2010 01:49 AM

I am '08 xB2 Nautical Blue. 31,000 miles.

AAG just keep a eye on the waterpump and if your vin on an 08 is before a certain#
they have issues with the engine wireharness

after review of your post on page one i can almost guarantee your vin# falls into this catagory toyota has a service bullitin about this
its not a recall my second xb is in this also

mnscionxb 06-11-2010 12:19 AM

I've had both fail already lol. I keep hearing electric steering and wheel bearings are other things to watch out for later down the road.

jnaval 06-12-2010 05:11 AM

Atleast there's no steering fluid to worry about.

You'll still have to worry about the electric steering failure which = $$$. I know I've seen a few people post this happen to them and it aint cheap if you're out of warranty.
