2010 xB just hit 150,000 miles. Have had it for about 5 years now.

08 xB with 205k miles, had this car since brand new. so far ive changed the water pump, accessory belt and tensioner, spark plugs, front and passenger motor mounts.

That's pretty much it, used Mobil 1 full Synthetic since day 1. Car does not have issues and still runs smooth, does not burn any oil, I will probably change my valve cover and oil pan gasket next.

My goal is to hit 300k.

Same here, except I still have original water pump. I changed my motor mounts myself but the motor shakes worse now than before ( it's not that bad) but at least I did it myself for fairly cheap. I had the oil consumption problem taken care of by Scion and the only thing I have ever had to do to it was have a transmission sensor replaced at about 160,000 miles. This has been an extremely reliable car and it keeps on going.

My 2010 xB has just over 170,000 miles

My 2012 just hit 80,000km (50k miles). Was sad watching it roll over the 80k mark...

2008 traded

Just traded in my 2008 xB with 236,000 miles on it. Bought used with 65,000 miles already on. Lot of brake problems, and power steering not working months at a time.

Other than that, it served me well. I now own a 2011 xB with 50,000 miles. Going to miss the manual transmission.

I've never served anyone well... :eyes:

I drive a 2014 xB that I bought in the summer of 2015. It had 8,400 miles on it then. It now has 19,388 miles and you still get a faint whiff of the New Car Smell when getting into the car. I upgraded it with the factory backup camera and have upgraded the stock steel wheels. I’ve recently had to replace the factory battery.

2012 xB

217,000 miles and still going. Original owner. Water pump 7,000 miles ago. Alternator 4,000 miles ago. Nothing but tires, oils, coolant and batteries(Phoenix heat). Oh and new shocks n struts last weekend. Other than that it’s been reliable. Got a lil bit of a low/rough idle that’s developed but I haven’t really had time to really dig in to it. Hopefully soon. Gonna order new tensioner/idler pulleys and new pads and rotors for the front soon. Love this car.

Just got my 2008 xB back from my brother who's had it a few years.I bought it new, then my parents took it over for my brother at around 80k or so. It has 175k on it now. Water pump was done around 70k, alternator, brakes a couple times. It burns some oil but not enough for the recall so we just check it every 1500 miles or so. been like that for a while. Keeps on going with no issues. recently the dealer told them it needed a new transmission because it wouldn't go forward only in reverse. Towed it to my house, did a drain and refill and it works so far. I will do a couple more drain and refills to get most of the old fluid out then drop the pan and change the filter. But I've been driving it a bunch lately and it drives pretty good. I kinda miss it! haha I might buy it back form my parents and run it up over 200k then maybe give it to my daughter in a couple years.

2013 xB bought new with only 2 miles on the odometer. Now, almost 8 years later, I'm at 52k miles. I didn't drive much before but now after the pandemic it's even less.

Nothing ever "broke" on the car but I've done preventative maintenance so I don't get any surprises when using the car. I've done tires once, brakes/rotors (pads a few times - city driving sucks!), battery after 7 years, tranny fluid and brake fluid
due to age and I self-replaced two door lock motors which had died - literally a $25 fix. This is it. I hope the car serves me as reliably in the upcoming years as it has for the last 7+ years. I get oil changes done every 4k-5k miles.

2008, oil changed yesterday at 195,409 miles.

Changed alternator about 1500 miles ago. Does burn more oil than normal, other than that no major problems. TPMS light blinks, but my manual air gauge works just fine.

Roof and hood paint worn out, but plan to keep as long as she'll run.

2008 xB - 180K miles. Bought used with 28K. Oil consumption - burns 1/2 quart every 1000 -1500 miles.
Paint is fading with peeling clear coat on bumpers from SoCal sun.
Fully embracing the natural patina trend at this point. It feels like a loyal old friend now. Hoping for 300K.

80K - HVAC fan knob jammed - replaced it myself.
150K - Dealership fried main buss fuse when they cross wired the battery cables. Yeah....
156K - Clutch, flywheel, throwout bearing, and rear main seal (Preventive maintenance) replaced
172K - O2 sensor failed - replaced it myself
175K - Alternator failed - replaced, along with serpentine belt (Preventive maintenance)

2012 (orange numbered edition) crawling up on 200K

Our 2005 gen1 went 374,000 before the rear struts didn't have anything left to hold onto. Original clutch, starter, alternator. Did 3 sets of breaks, a water pump and a couple of exhaust repairs, changing 11 (9front 2 rear)windshields got some rust started and despite trips into the paint booth she died of Cancer.

Buying another xB was an obvious choice. "Bridgette" was just over 100k when we got her. Burning a little oil. Some good years resulted in my wife joining the "Santa Fe" crowd and my daughter getting "Bridgette" as her first car.

She's a bit thirsty with the oil ...... enough so my daughter is going to learn a hard lesson if she doesn't keep up with it. She's already learned that the drain plug won't straighten out if you just pull the wrench a little more.

She's not too rusty..... Good enough to consider dropping a motor in it if I can find one when the time comes. Daughter is working highway construction and might be layoff in the winter. (Why I'm back.....)

72,562 Miles now still babied and trying to keep it as new as possible. So far no major work
has been done, thinking about changing serpentine belt out eventually. Polished it yesterday.
