I don't like the Element...I cant see the similarity with the xB...they are more SUVish...xB is more Wagonish....I'm not surprised about the 20 MPG in the Element...it is a lot bigger and heavier. I am thinking there will be a lot of disappointed 08 xB owners too...Bigger car, Bigger motor, More Gadgets = Bigger sticker price, Heavier car and Less MPG....

I know what your saying...The 2.4L in the Element is silky smoot h. It Hums up to 6k like its nothing- puts out enough torque in first gear to send the AWD system haywire- has tons of room( I can't reach the passenger door lock from the drivers seat and i'm 6'4")- So at this rate I want to proceed with the xB as long as side airbags and cruise are standard and mileage is still in the thirties. I am hoping a 1.8 will be standard and an 2.4 optional. If not I will stay in the E... I guess I will live with the MPG issue- after all it got 28MPG on a 300mile road trip....
