Default Looking for my first xb

Looking to get my first xb as a work far. My civic has 225k on it and got hit and not worth fixing. I've been browsing the ads and wondering what the differences are between the years when the first Gen 2 came out, 2008 I think.

Pre-2008 xB is a completely different car. If you want to learn about the changes over time, Wikipedia has a good overview.

04-07 is different, 08-10 the same, 11-12 the same as 08-10 but tweaked as far as front and back bumpers tail lights headlights and hood.

Thanks for the info guys. I'm looking at an '08 white with 35K on if for $13k and an '11 white with 8.5k in it for $16.5. I have been to 2 delears here in the SF bay area and neither will budge on new car pricing, all claim it's Scions pure pricing.

Am I missing something? I'm familiar with Scion "Pure Pricing", but since when did that apply to used cars?

That was for new car pricing, used they are will to negotiate the price. I looked at the 2008, nice and clean but the low tire preasure light was on, he then tells me these are not the original rims and tires that came on the car. It had different ones and put scion steel rims with caps on it. My guess all 4 tires don't have the air preasure check. Not a big deal to most but with a lot of highway miles I drive I want it working. Not sure how much 4 sensors are plus the new tires it needs, I'll pass.

Working with an auto dealer selling a 2011 with just under 9k on it, price they want is $16.5, I'm working on trying to get it for $15k or $15.5

My friend at the dealership told me that Pure Pricing only apply to "New Vehicles" Although on used cars they will take the KBB price and account for their own overhead only (padding) the vehicle cost by 1-2k. if you have a friend that works at the dealer they can attempt to take that pad off but it will have to go through the sales manager anyhow so chances are low.

My friend is a pretty good source I have raced cars with him and hes the one that sold me my XB

Makes no sense to purchase a used xB2 without TPMS sensors (tire condition and rim specifics are a separate consideration). If the TPMS system doesn't work (federally required on new vehicles), you don't want the car -- it won't kill them to install sensors (unless the rim type is especially radical, the OE sensors should work).

EDIT: Otherwise, make sure the price reflects the reduction in factory capability !
