Default My 2010 xB RS 7.0

I'm back! My G1 xB met an unfortunate end but I just recently purchased my second, a '10 xB RS 7.0 three weeks ago. The only mod I've had time for is a billet overlay and painted the front logo.

This is Norma, a.k.a. Road Rash. Destron leader of the Destructicons.

Up until Sunday I had never seen another. I was in another state so I'm still the only one in town. ha ha.

Summer is here so it is time to play! I pulled the xB logo off the back and added an Autobot logo(DCL!) on the inside so it's ghosted out. I also ordered a set of black Toyota emblems to swap in. Still can't find the drivers floor matt. And I HAVE to find some replacement center caps for these rims. Idk what brand they are and I've not checked the size but it's such an eye sore. Cringe worthy.

Just took off the other too. Since I didn't have plugs I used the hot glue gun. Two little beads rounded with my finger worked like a charm.

My black Toyota logo's came in today. I was so excited but as soon as I open them I could tell that they were too small. I guess it'll just have to be a clean back for now.

I decided that the logo needed something so I painted the letters. This nail polish is a very close match.

Why not get regular Toyota emblems and then plastidip them black? Back hatch Toyota emblem is 75431-02080. Not sure what the equivalent pre-facelift emblem is for the front bumper, 2011 and up uses a bigger emblem.

I may still get one for the front but I've decided to keep the rear clean.

Hows the paint on your RS 7.0's holding up for you guys?

I've noticed some fading and a few months back I had to get my DAMD front spoiler repainted since the clear coat was failing. Of course this could be from the all the sun we get here in central California but the car has been garage kept the majority of its life and I'm the original owner.

^^^ Much love. And I have those vent visors on my 2013 xB and I love them. I put them on like 4 years ago and they're still holding up without a problem.

Love that I found your thread! My Gen 1 xB also met an untimely end recently, and I too lucked out and found a RS 7.0 a few days ago.
Love the purple nail polish in the front logo - I’m going to have to borrow that idea!

Any luck finding floor mats? I’m on the Search as well.

I finally found a full set at full price.

So, bad news, I was backed into and my front end got banged up bad enough that I had to order a new, unpainted, front lip and replacement fog lights. Since I'm going to be taking the front end apart I'm going to use this time to install my new lights I've had in storage forever. Also, since i'll have the front bumper/lip off I want to add a air damn/valance or what ever you call it. Does anyone know of a cheap, but good looking, one on ebay? Now would be the ideal time to install it with everything else. I haven't decided if I want to paint the new bumper. I may paint the middle part of the grill black and just have the front be all black. Ideas? Opinions?

ugh, sorry to hear about the damage but it sounds like you have a good plan to replace everything, while the front bumper is off, are you interested in installing hella horns? I had two sets of them on my gen 1 xb and havent done the same mod to my current '13 xb because of time mainly hah.

all the best, my friend.
