My key fob is no good for more than 15 steps away. I tried new batteries, no improvement. I bought and programed a new flip key remote from eBay, no improvement. So now I think I should solder on a piece of wire to the RKE modules antenna like I've seen on YouTube.
Does anyone know where I might find it? My best guess is either under the driverside window and lock switches, or on the driverside window pillar between the front and back doors. Does anyone have any better solutions to increase the working distance of my key fobs?
