Nav Install in 2008 xB with Part # 08662-21810?
I am trying to install a SNS100 Part number 08662-21810 in a 2008 xB. I have looked at all the threads, and they are using a different (2010) Scion navigation system. I looked at sparks web site and took a look at their install, but it is for for a 08545-00930 (is it the same as the 08662-21810). Everything is hooked up but it will not display video. It does the sound; the vehicle is parked, key in the ACC position, and the parking brake on. Still no picture. Everything else works fine. I would like to mod it so it comes on whenever I want, but I will even take in park as well.

I have the '08 xB with '08 Navi part #08545-00930, and it works fine. Don't know why yours would have another part #, or what might be different.
Just out of curiosity, did you put the DVD in the CD slot (top), or the Navi disc slot (bottom)? It only plays in the bottom Navi slot of part #08545-00930.

I put the disc in the DVD slot. I get sound but no picture. When I put the nav disc in, it works fine.
The SNS I am using is a 2008-2009 version and has a different part number than the one you mentioned. It is still classified as a sns100 though.

Mine did the EXACT same thing. DVD playing in the DVD/map slot, main menu sound and blue warning screen. No matter if parked, eng on or off, or parking brk pulled.
When I removed the SNS unit, the purple tap was not hooked up to anything, the red one was taped to parking brake wire, and green to a red wire from the fuse box area.
