Picked up a 15 xB 5 speed manual with 3,800 miles a few months back, I've put about 8,000 miles on it so far, thoughts... comfortable, with the back seat down carrys enough, headlights decent, seems to be a decent car I can rack up miles on,
my previous car was a VW Passat TDI that would easily get 48-50 mpg and 800 miles per tank but the EPA didn't like it so... I guess I'll fill up every 300 miles now
Anyway... hello all

Welcome. I keep the rear seats folded all the time and I put rubberized carpet mats down to protect the seat backs. Who needs an SUV when the xB has 70 cubic feet of cargo space ?

WELCOME TO THE BOARD!

1) yeah, i drive 90% city and i fill up more often than i'd like to admit. xb dash says i am geting 22-24mpg and it sucks. tons of stop and go traffic in my normal driving.

2) i agree with crimson on the space of the xb - exactly the reason why i haven't gotten an suv. i recently moved and used my car to do the entire move myself - with the exception of the beds/couches at my old place. i hired a company to move that but it was very affordable bc i did a bulk of the move myself.

anyway, enjoy the new ride! awaiting pics of your ride :D

I fit this in my xB while it was still in the box. Was fun unloading by myself.

Yep, I keep the back seats down and this box can carry stuff for sure, I'm planning a class 1 hitch when the weather warms up, have a 4x8 aluminum utility trailer for hauling mulch and garden supplies home and occasionally to drag my Honda rancher to some atv trails
With the amount of miles I drive and what I'm going to do with this box, I have a feeling it's going to live a hard life... hope it's up to the task
