New xB Owner
I just acquired a 2015 xB through a trade. I know almost nothing about these little cars. I ran the VIN through Experion and it says "686 Parklan Edition/Base."
What does that mean? I did a little research and there is so much conflicting information out there, I don't know what to believe.
I'm seeing ads for dealerships selling 686 Parklan Edition xB's but they're all different colors. Mine is Maroon, and I've seen a few the same color also listed as 686 Parklans.
Mine has steel wheels with plastic hubcaps, not the split 5 spoke rims.
I just want to sell this car as quickly as I can and get as much as I can for it. I accepted it in trade for my Harley Road King as it was taking too long to sell and I thought the Scion might be easier to sell. Anyway, I'm skeptical as to this car being a Parklan Edition, but I don't want to give it away if it is. I've been told these cars have a "cult following" and they sell for way more than KBB says they're worth.
I'm brand new on here so I'm not sure if I can post pictures or not... If anyone bothere to read this I'll see if I can post some pics.

hi and congrats on your car. Dealers don’t know what they have. The parklans only came in one color which they called metallic coco bean. It’s basically a metallic brown. There were a few produced so you should have a badge on the dash somewhere that says it’s number x of 686. If none of these describe your car, you have a plain ol’ xb which is also kick ___ - congrats.
