I asked this question before, but not for this car.

You technically can drive your car without a front stabilizer bar if you drive in a straight line 100% of the time. But if you take a corner, your car will not be stable, it could be very dangerous.

I don't suggest it.

or just take off the springs and ride on the shocks only
sounds like your suspension will go out of control on a turn

Try unbolting it and see if you do get any lower first, if so then look into adjustable length endlinks so that you can keep it attached but change where it sits.

http://www.hellwigproducts.com/produ...ble-end-links/

The 11-14" is the best choice since our stock endlinks are 14" long to start with.

the only reason why i cant go lower is because the endlink bracket is hitting the top collar, so the only other thing i could do is shorter endlinks. drag cars run without front sway bars and some of the auto-x guys do as well but those are on cars im not sure how this suv type would drive. how much are those hellwig endlinks?

It will handle poorly in corners but will still drive. Nothing will fall apart. The main reason a lot of auto-x guys run no sway in the front is due to the class they are in. In some of the classes you are not able to add extra suspension parts so to improve oversteer they will remove the front bar. It gets them around the track better but isn't that great for street use. BTW we have regular cars not SUVs. The xB2 is based off the same platform as the Corolla, Matrix, Vibe trio. The Hellwig end links are around $100.
