Tech support answer: It's the amount of fuel, in gallons, the fuel tank will hold.

I would like to know if the fuel tank is larger than the current model and by how much. I believe it was already answered.

the current xb is 11.9 gallons, just make it 12. i get 40 miles a gallon!

Yep. Put another way, the new xB's fuel tank is 2.1 gallons larger than the 1st gen.

Or--another $7 to fill the tank!!!

lol...this is one of those "High Tech" subjects, huh? It will be good to spend MORE money on a fill-up.....to go with the FEWER MPG. The new xB sounds better and better :)
