Pioneer Appradio with 2012 XB
Hi,
I am looking to buying the Pioneer Appradio (SPH-DA100)
I have a few questions for anyone who knows about Audio on our cars.
Does anyone know if I install this stereo will the audio controls on the steering wheel work or be compatible with this?
Also I am wondering if the built in mic in the car will work or if I will need to use the one that comes with the stereo.
If both of those work I defiantly want to get this. Let me know if you know. Thanks!

is the adapter for the steering wheel control something that would connect to the harness behind the stereo and makes the buttons work?
And okay I dont mind using the one that comes with the stereo but was just hoping to use the stock one since it is hidden in the headliner. Do you know if they also make an adapter for the mic as well? Thanks for the quick reply.

As far as I know the mic is in one of the harnesses that you don't plug in? I'm not 100% on that.
The adaptor of the steering wheel is just that you plug it into the harness then usually into the head unit and it should be plug and play. Try hitting up a best buy or car toys. Usually they will be able to help find the best model of adaptor for the app radio ( there are several and all work differently with different brands.) and can most of the time do the install for you on those.
