I realize this is an old discussion but I'm in hopes this group could help me with an issue I'm having. About a year and a half ago I started to hear my '08 release series making a loud 'Boom' noise and a jolt when going over road imperfections (potholes, uneven road changes, speed bumps etc.) it seemed as if the car was bottoming out. Since I was approaching 100k and 10 years I figured the suspension was at wits end. I replaced with new TRD springs as well as new shocks. When changing out the old it was noted that the shocks were dead. However all new was installed and the problem still persists. It feels as if it bottoms out my suspension going over very simple differences in road changes. Is this a suspension issue or can it be more like engine mounts? I'm baffled. Ps. the wheels and tires remained unchanged since new, enkie 16's and 245's I think.
