I'm trying to come up with suitable nicknames for the second gen xBs so owners can stop trying to use the 1st gen. ones.

How about calling them Dueces for xB2? Please post up your thoughts and ideas.

Why is a gen 1 owner in the gen 2 lounge trying to get gen 2 owners to reference their cars differently?

Well the xB2s are NOT boxes or toasters. You can't call them something they are not. Nice to see the xB2 owners are as nasty as I thought they were. Thanks!

 

You came into our neck of the woods wanting us to change what we call our cars. What kind of response did you really expect? Although it's been redesigned the new XB is still boxish. The angles just aren't as sharp.

First off I don't think xb2 owners are nasty. Xb1 owners have been haters since before the xb2 came out and they still are. OMG it sucks ___ on MPG, its a pig, its got too big of a motor (i don't understand that one)......STFU already! Honestly gen1 owners start it first and I can say this from personal experience on the road.

I've tried smiling and waving at gen 1 owners and all they do is give you a very ugly dirty look .

I give them a big smile and rev up my REAL engine... and leave them in the dust... lol i dunno.. its just fun... they probably think im a stupid punk kid.... but I feel much better after i do it.. they NEVER look or wave back to me with a smile EVER. screw em!..lol

my second gen gets the same gas millage as my 1st one did cause in the first one i had to floor it just to keep up with traffic and yeah lol hahahahah its still a scion maybe you guys should just get along i had a first gen and like the second gen about 445834095827450 times better

 

It should be called the Scion xB.

 

I just call it xB2. 2nd Gen xB... the new xB.

 

I prefer to call it "safe to drive."

My kids call the first gen. a fridge or Xbox,. Can't wait to hear what they call mine when I get it in the next week or so... they still don't know it yet. It will be a replacemnet for a 2001 New Beelte. I sure am gonna miss that 43mpg.

The "square" set of nicknames are stuck - permanently - because of the legacy of the first one, backed up by the "PRO: BOXY" advertising. Even if the new one was no more square than your average cute ute it's going to stick.
And since we're already the only car company on the planet where all the model owners hate one another, any attempts to the contrary are just just plain old trolling .

I can't wait till the Gen 3's come out (as perfect spheres, I'm guessing) and we all have someone to unite against.
