Default thank you insurance company

well after my wife jumped the curb and bent the front rim and some other stuff up. .my old rims (gunmetal) we're on backorder 90 days..so instead of the insurance company fittin the bill for the rental for that long they decided it was cheaper for them to send out black rims that were in stock, same rims just black

i liked the gunmetal bcuz EVERY car has black rims, but since the rest of my car is all blacked out, i think the black looks better imo

I love both setup's but the black def def stands out more. Same with my xB SW with black out everything, was gonna go white wheels but black just seemed to be a better idea. Congrats on the new / color wheels. 2 Thumps up here!

Also what Springs are you on?

Thanks!

If my wife needs wheels other than her Civic, she has to drive the 93 Suburban, but NEVER my XB! NO WAY!

kinda liked the gunmetal better, but still looks sick, how are the sportlines? any rubbing if packed in the rear? you got to keep the gunmetal ones right or did the insurance company take them?

yeah if i have 2 people in the rear its rubbin on bumps..3 people is worse of course. i didnt keep the rims bcuz the 2 were completely trashed on the driver side, but i kept the tires for them so i have 2 spares, they were purchased like 3 wks before the wreck so there brand new

my other car is an 87 4runner with no a/c = i live in phoenix, so really cant let her drive that car with a 3 yr old and a 2 month old ya kno, i just drive it back and forth to work

Damn, I don't know what it is, but it seems like over and over again it's the "significant other" that manages to damage our xB2's, and particularly by hitting a curb! Aargh, what's the problem?

It's really seeming to me that one should never allow one's "significant other" to get behind the wheel of our babies. If they can't handle curbed corners, then they should be driving cars that are totally expendable (or perhaps they shouldn't be driving at all!)

Same here, its the main reason why I got a 5-speed over the auto lol.

OP, it looks really good with black wheels, gives it a "stealth" look. Im SHOCKED they didnt make you ride around with a stock wheel until getting the replacement.
