Default DC Sports strut brace

I was wondering if anybody here is running the DC Sports brace? If you are what do you think of the quality and do you have any photos? Thanks.

Yeah I found at this place. When I get back from deployment I will pick one up and post photos if no one has done so by then.

Scoop it up from one of our vendors, fastscions:

Almost forgot, stay safe.

No problem man. If you pick one up let me know what you think, I'm pretty stoked to when I get back and work on my car.

Definitely! I know I'd be chomping at the bit!

I haven't found a definitive picture of one yet. From what everyone has said, it may be a negligible part. But I'd rather do it for the aesthetics.

Form > function.

I took a look at that fast scion site and there was a little picture. Hey DREWxB08 what intake you running is it also a TRD. I wanted to do a turbo but I think for the money I could have a more balanced car with some bolt ons, wheels and, suspension work maybe thats just my train of thought since I don't have bags full of money.

I have the TRD Strut bar along with the the TRD intake, Fits and looks real clean. The DC sports thou is really really nice looking but i see it comes out a bit and i wonder if the trd will hit since it sits higher.

The picture on the fastscions website is for a tC. I haven't found a pic for the xB2. I thought about hitting up fastscions on here, since they're a vendor, and ask if they could hook up the price a little to give a review!

Random revival! Did anyone ever buy this from Andy's auto sport? How did it fit?

I ordered one today so I'll post up when I get it in. I did find it cheaper through K-spec Racing but their shipping was $30 plus $3 handling fee which brought the total to within a few cents of Andy's price so I got it from Andy's rather than be ripped off on shipping and handling fees.

Well the results of the order are that they can't get them and have no ETA on when they might get any. Money refunded and going toward something else.

Maybe they didn't feel there was enough interest? I believe Tanabe also offers one but it doesn't look all mighty as the DC Sports one. Lol.

I know this thread is really old but since I am an xB owner again I thought I would try and order that mythical brace. So I looked high and low and found nothing so I called DC Sports and they said just call one of their distributors so back on the phone I went. After calling about 7 different places I still could not find it so I called DC again and they said the old part number CSB 1405 was superseded by part number CSB 1408?! So I called Option Auto Salon and after a game of phone tag I ordered the new part number even though it is a TC strut brace. I should have the part within the week so stay tuned and the moment of truth about this brace will be revealed soon.

So I got my brace in today and well it is what it is. The quality doesn't look to be the greatest and it isn't the awesome twin tubed brace like the original brace they offered. I will install and get more photos posted but it does look like it will fit.
