Factory Brake Upgrade?
Since we have a good amount of Toyota models, does anyone know of any factory upgrades.... example. My 99 Impreza RS, had 10.5" front rotors and 10" rear rotors and by swapping the caliper bracket I was able to goto a WRX front 11.5" and Legacy 11.4 rear giving a better brake feel.

I was just thinking the same thing. I did a cross reference on my Z4 one time. And found that on the 2.5 it only had something like 275 mm discs. With the stock rims they stopped perfectly. But I put 18 inch rims on and brake performance, naturally, was reduced. So I searched around and new that certain 3 series used the same front suspension parts as the Z4. And eventually found that I believe it was the 325 was using 300mm discs. And the spindle and calipers where exactly the same as the Z4 but just used a bracket to compensate for the larger discs. Those brackets from the dealer were nearly 150 bucks a piece, but I got some from a junkyard for just 60 bucks for both. Then I also got new rotors from Tire Rack stock size and specks but made by Brembo, for like 75 bucks for both. So got them in and installed them and walla, a factory big brake upgrade for under 150 Bucks.
So, I have been looking at my RX330 and brake parts and looking at seeing if they would fit on the XB. I believe that the discs are too thick and are 310mm in diameter. But one of the Camry models the diameter is only 296 and thickness is barely a couple mm difference in thickness. So it may be possible to get them to fit on the XB and save nearly 1000 bucks and not have to go the TRD route just to get big brakes. And a few companies make cross drilled and/or slotted rotors for about 120 for both, that are in the 296 mm size and fit the Camry. It may only take swapping calipers from a Camry if there aren't brackets to compensate for the larger diameter discs. So I imaging we could do a cross referenced big brake upgrade for about 300 bucks, if you shop diligently like I did with my BMW.
And, since I just painted my calipers, it got me thinking and I might be trying to make this factory big brake upgrade, after I do some more of the research that I already started.

Initial Thickness: Camry = 28mm, xB = 25mm
Brake Rotor Overall Depth: Camry = 49.5mm, xB = 46.4mm
What does that mean? Well a thicker rotor + a rotor that sinks in (going towards the engine bay) means no bueno. Just research and plan better or you'll just waste money and time on something that will not work.

Found this on a guy with a TC, so there is promise to swap and mix and match brakes from other Toyota Models, the trick looks like the big bracket, because it looks like it not only sets the caliper higher for the bigger rotor, but all backwards towards the car to make room for the depth of the rotor.
