Default Megan Racing Street Series / MR-CDK-SCXB08

Just installed these yesterday
We figured out the few nuances of the rear spring & shock & all functions right

Approx 1 finger gap all around w/zero tire rub

Im a true function guy & not a fan of the Stance set-up, so zero rub is a must

Hi Frank

Ride quality is softer than I like, but Im a track guy & have a track prepped EVO in the garage. The ride is firmer than stock but certainly great for the street
Yes, you can lower your XB much more than I have (much more lowering avail) Im running 235/45/17 tires so my fronts rub on hard compression bumps as it sits now
So far, Im impressed w/the quality of the Megans & have no complaints

If you have any questions on the install, let me know. We ran into a couple of minor issues that required some thinking =)

Thanks, Joe

Hey joe wazzup? after reading ur reply and noting that u are running 17x8 wheels with 38 mm offset, i'm wondering how much clearance u have from wheel to closest point inboard. U said tires rub hard on compression bumps, so i'm thinking they rub outboard perhaps on fender? I'm looking at 17x7.5 wheel with 45mm offset....tires will be 225/50r17. a bit narrower than u but a shade taller. They will be mounted inboard more than ur setup as well....any info on clearance/point of contact will be helpful

TY...Frank

Hi Frank, The +38 wheel sits almost flush w/the outside of the front fender. When I drive the XB hard, on the back roads near my house, I make slight contact w/the front fender liner. Not bad, but it

will likely burn through the liner at some point. Thats why I would have preferred a bit more spring rate.
That 50 series tire is super tall & well over the stock 205/55/16 (almost a 4% diff. Thats a big diff). A 225/45 would be a better choice IMHO.
Let me know if you have other questions, Joe
