Can one notice the difference? Does it really have an impact?

Thanks in advance.

when are you making a 4-point version?? I have one on my wrx and its really a nice piece. You could add something to remove the existing braces and make it one piece.
Something like this, Please excuse the fast photoshop job.

Nice! I'd buy that one before the first one. Just seams like it would do a lot more to the car.

Bigfieroman 02-24-2008 12:47 AM

I called and asked about a 4-point, they said that they considered it, but that 2-point was the best "bang for the buck" and a 4-point would not have been much better.

I think you should remove the "Tanabe" from you're photoshopped pic since they don't make that. It'll be confusing to those who don't read and just look at the pics.

redline8k 02-25-2008 07:28 PM

good call I will take care of that when I get home.
thanks

Well if you look towards the top of the picture right where the downpipe comes out you can see that the chassis is reinforced there. There wouldn't have been a purpose for us to charge you more and add a support where one is not needed. Our R&D tested the chassis and created the under brace based on the weak point.

redline8k 03-06-2008 12:58 AM

thats cool. Its good to know that you guys arnt out to rob us.
I understand about having the support, but I was thinking more about replacing the "L" parts for more of a uniform strength.
thanks

Tanabe do you have a pic of a vehicle outfitted with all your Suspension options?

If so, please post a pic or a link...

Go_HIN 06-05-2008 04:47 PM

awesome! guys a 4 point as mentioned in that photoshop probably wouldn't benefit the car any more than the 2 point, so I'm glad the 2 point was used and I know that definitely helps in keeping the costs down. I know it seems like it's only a bar but trust me, these minor things make a difference on such a loose car. Our cars NEED NEED chassis support and to have a company like Tanabe offer products is awesome! a REAL company that does REAL R&D and with PROVEN track record!!!!

PS Does anyone have a picture of our entire cars from the bottom?

Thanks Tanabe for your support in Scionlife, I know suspension is often over looked but you definitely have a following here!
