are you thing sways too? I have front and rear hotchkis and a strut bar, but you really feel sway bars more. Front is kind of a pain to put on, if you went with just trd sway and a strut bar down the road(any brand) you'd get great handling as well.

mine came today, seems pretty straight foward install as there are no instructions, but should just be removing bolts, putting the bars on and re-bolting....

I bought this product thinking it was something nice. I am not happy with this product at all. The trunk brace is hollow flat stock not tubular, the welds are not that great and the mounting holes are not even. Plus is won't fit without me trying to force it. The traction bar i received is bent and not fully welded also hollow flat stock, and the cups are not even. The Mid brace is not that bad but it looks like a lot of spot welds instead of a solid weld. I contacted the company and they do reply fast. They say it is a no return policy which i don't see on there website, also they want me to pay shipping to send the defective traction bar back, packaging is very bad, not worth the money for the braces. Some of the reviews i read were good, but i am going to dispute this order because of bad quality of product and not receiving what was pictured. Ordered 2/17/13 received on 3/18/13. I can post pictures if any one wants. Also i have not installed any of these products i went to test fit the trunk brace and it doesn't even line up. I will keep everyone updated.

We are sorry to hear that. I have been in active communication with you all day and offered to send you a new product in exchange for the one that you said has a missed weld. As for you calling out our return policy, I cannot accept a full return of the entire set based upon this message(in the contact us section of our website it explains that only braces with manufacturing defects, fitment issues or weld failures can be refunded). Earlier today you said, direct quote from my email, "Hey man sorry to be a bother, but what is you return policy. I would like to just return the set, Your braces look pretty good but i would just rather not bother with them right now. Everything is still new nothing installed, but looking at it i can't use the trunk brace cuz it blocks the storage area. The traction bar and mid brace i would just rather not put on. Hit me back up please, thanks." Through out the 9 messages today nothing was mentioned about the trunk brace not fitting. Again we tried making things right by telling you wed ship a new brace out for the one that had a missed weld and I would like to know how we could be of better service to you.

As per the round stock vs square stock on the trunk brace, This is a new version of the trunk brace. Square stock on its edge has 3 times the torsional rigidity than the round stock.

I was trying to be nice, i didn't want to contact you and say hey i think these braces suck and i want my money back. As for the square vs round, you may be right but since i feel like i can bend your trunk brace over my knee i don't think it is stronger then the round stock. And yes you want me to pay to ship back the bad product and you said you would try to get me my shipping back, i already wasted the $235, i am going to dispute this transaction since what you sent me isn't pictured and i do not see a no return policy. In an earlier post a guy said your welds were not that great and you took offense to that comment. I just didn't want to call your stuff bad to begin with. But like earlier stated, traction bar not straight and fully welded, mid brace has all different levels of cup bases that fit against the body, and the trunk brace is hollow flat stock instead of round. I will be getting a tanabe under brace no matter what happens. I wanted to work with you but you were like sorry no returns.

Glad I didn't buy.

Post pictures. Curious of these welds... lots of spot welds is what's refered to as "stitch welding". Sometimes people will do this where they don't want to cause too much heat and warp the item. If there was a correct jig, they could weld all day long on it without a problem.

These are just a few of the pics, the traction bar, the right bar is angled and and fully welded on the cup, every cup bottom "washer" is a different height. The crinkle paint helps clean it up a little bit, but the welds are rough and uneven.

SeveredVegan, don't let this guy taint your opinion. TB Performance Products are all hand made, I've watched the guy weld the washers in to the cups. I'd put his welds next to the ones on my DC sports strut bar any day. I also plan on relpying to your thread, where you copy/pasted your complaint from here, but before I do, where are all these problems you mentioned? I see one cup that's off level by so little that I call BS on it not fitting. Everything else looks damn fine!

Ski, what part of the advertised picture doesn't show that the trunk bar goes right across the storage space?
The first page of this thread has the picture that you, no doubt, ordered from.
Also, I'd love to see someone bend this tube stock over their knee. I've seen a tC with the braces equipped totaled (unrelated to the bars) but the braces were still dead straight, so "I feel like I bend this brace over my knee" is ridiculous. Also, if you want to see pictures of that tC and/or the braces after the accident, just ask.

I'm happy with my order. Only issue I had was I needed a pry bar on one of the mounting points of the traction bar, it was about a quarter inch off or so. The other two bars went on no problem. I am curious to see what the different strut bar looks like.

regarldess of Ski's OP. when i get the money( or if you do another sale (HINT HINT OMG HINT) im all over it)

The fact alone he quoted the email and took the time to respond shows how they are willing to back their products. no one else is doing this for the box so i am inclined to trust them. Do post a pic of the trunk bar in the storage area. i have a 12" sub back i want to make sure it will still fit.

I never mounted the truck brace, i would need a hammer and file to do it, i used the covering the trunk space as a excuse since i was ordering a round tube stock brace that fit and did not get one. You get farther in this world when you are nice, but he shot me back an email saying no returns and you have to pay to ship the bad product i sent you back. The fact is these will never go on my car, if he returns them " i doubt it " then fine, if not i will sell them to how ever wants them, even though the traction bar is defective. Also this is hollow flat stock, i can bend that over my knee. Buy if you want, doesn't matter to me, this is just my experience, like i said i will me buying tanabe's brace because there quality of work it amazing and so is the warranty.

You keep saying you can bend this over your knee, I do not think that phrase means what you think it means!
I saw a tC SMASH the whole passenger side, and his ~18" "hollow flat stock" was still as straight as the day it was made. Nothing wrong with it at all!

Okay i tell you what, if this ends up the way i think it will and i get stuck with these braces, before i throw them away, i will bend the trunk brace over my knee take pictures and post it if you want, you are really stuck on this statement, i was not exaggerating that statement. But the whole purpose of my post was to show my experience and warn others. No Returns even though its not listed, you must pay to ship back defective parts even if thats how you received them, you may not receive what is pictured, some fitment is required, so not fully bolt on then, and in my opinion the welding is not what i expected from a company that makes braces. I did want these braces, i read how everyone was happy with there purchase, well what i got is not what i paid for. I will be adding another chassis brace thru tanabe, i did want a trunk brace but not what i was sent. The company respond to every one of my emails in a very timely fashion, but again, i was sent a brace that was not pictured, the traction bar was not finished and put built wrong, the midbrace looks okay but i don't like the spot welds, and there are pieces of metal inside of it rattling around. I hear a lot of you have good luck with TB performance, thats what made me order the whole kit, but I got a raw deal and will not promote or support them.
