So I have TRD lowering springs and Ive had them about 3 months and the back still sits a little high comparerd to the frount and I was wondering what everyone thought about the idea of cutting the back springs so it sits even. or shoud I wait it out and get coilovers?

Do not cut your springs ever. Do not make us look bad, and give us a bad name. If you rock cut springs, I'm selling my tC tomorrow because I am not going to associated with that. You see that 96' Civic bouncing every which way down the road with more dents and non-matching parts than a junk yard dog? Yeah, cut springs. Not to mention you'll snap them. If springs were meant to be cut, Tein and TRD and Megan and Hotchkins and Eibach would make no money and would be out of business. Cut springs are a bad idea, and the uneven stress on your struts will cause those puppies to blow as well. I think TRD springs sit pretty high in my opinion. You should have done some research and seen what springs heights you liked the best. Get some S-Techs, or even H-Techs are kinda low, but those are comparable to the TRD's. TRD doesn't make low sitting springs because they know all that stress is bad for the struts and if they went any lower, that'd be replacing struts left and right for free! You could see if someone is selling a rear set of S-Techs and replace your rears, and keep your fronts, but I also don't recommend that. I'd spend the $200 and deal with it and get some new springs and get the height you really want after doing more research.

 

word, i jumped the gun and bought TRD springs, didnt like the height. I should have done research and bought the DFs which i ride on now. I love them.

On a serious note I dont like the rear height at a standing/parked position, BUT when the vehicle is moving, it does lower from the rear (seen it while my bro drove my car). There is little weight in the back so when you park and apply the e-brake, the rear rises...
