xB2 Aggressive Fitment thread..

Sorry, forgot specs. Vw Huffs, 18x 7.5 with 225 x40 all the way around, .75 inch adapter in front and 1 inch out back. If I ran a 215 or smaller I think I would still rub a bit in front. Oh, and Tein coilovers keeping it low.

That's entirely dependent on your wheel width, but probably.

I'm putting money on yes, they'll need to be rolled. Not pulled, but probably just flattened.
When I tried running my TRD 19's with 235/35R19's with 25mm spacers (+23mm effective offset) I rubbed pretty badly. I was as low as I am now, and rubbed like crazy.
Stretched tires are key to aggressive fitment. People can say they're dangerous, but I haven't had a single problem for the past 3 months.

Since you're on air, it may be better to run something not as aggressive. You can run the rear as aggressive as you want, like darrenB, but keep the front a little more conservative so you can turn easier.
If I go air, I'll want to tuck the quarter and fenders to the tire/wheel junction in the stretch.

One thing here that I think were leaving out is ride height? Not to be a d!ck or anything, but agressive fitment is fairly easy when you're not lowered that much.. (BTW I have no plans to get into a ____ing match with anyone) But it hit me when you're all talking about not rubbing. So I was curious what everyone's ground to fender height is? I'll start.. after making all my adjustments with my old setup back on, the front are 22 7/8" rears are 23 4/8". I'm thinking about going to either a 205-40-17 or even a 195-40-17 next time. Hopefully the rubbing stops with the 205s.

I am sitting at 24 1/2 in front and 24 3/4 in the back in my garage. I live in North San Diego, and have cruised around downtown and PB and Mission Beach, I wouldn't call it a blessing. I have found plenty of places where I scrape and rub, and to think I want go down more.

Being in Utah, property has to be either elevated or have adequate drainage. This poses a problem for lowered vehicles.
I still haven't swapped out for my winter set of wheels. Still rocking the Rotiforms with summer tires.

^ I agree with your above comment. When talking aggressive fitment it means both wheel fitment and an extreme drop. Not meaning slammed To the ground but lower than a springs drop. Enough to tuck a little tire.
At least that's what I hope to see
In this thread.

I looking to run 17x10 +20 in the rear. Anybody have anything this aggressive in the rear yet? I know I will have to roll the fenders but thats no biggie. My xb is on df210s is it gonna rub like crazy? Im not new to aggressive fitment so I know it will take a little work. This is my g35 20x9 -10 front. 20x11 -5 rear. In the pics the fronts are at +15.
