hows it going guys? i am planning on getting this wheels at the end of the month but i have a few questions that i need to get answers for. like the title says, the wheels are xxr 521's 18x8.5. i need to know what offset i should go with. i wanna run the same offset on the front and the back. will a +25 offset stick out a lot? will the +35 rub in the front? please, any help will be greatly appreciated.

Run the 35mm offset. You'll be fine.

 

I am on TRD lowering springs right now, but i plan on getting coilovers in the distant future.

 

+25 offset will poke about 1/2" in front; like severedvegan said, "Run the 35mm offset. You'll be fine."

What if I wanted to run same 18x8.5+35 on TRD springs but with 235/40/18 rubber all the way around? Rubbing on the front?

 

Personally I would expect some occasional rubbing with that set-up, but I know of one guy who ran 19x8.5 +35 with 235/35 tires on TRD springs, and he claimed no rubbing; no guarantees from me. Worst case might be a little fender rolling, but you could try it first without.

 

Anyone have side pic of these rims with +35? Wanted to see how flush it looks.
