2012 xB with 18" Mazdaspeed 3 wheels
Newbie here, first post. Today marks the 4th week since purchasing my xB, so I am just getting started. I had a set of 18" wheels from a 2009 Mazdaspeed 3 that I swapped out after two months, so they are pretty much brand new.
I found that the offset, etc was identical to the xB's, so I visited my local Discount Tire, bought some 225/40R18's, lugs/locks & new TPMS sensors, and slapped them on.
I know there is plenty of gap, and I will lower it next, but here's how she looks, with a picture of the MS3, to show where the wheels came from. The racks are not just for looks, we do some biking in the mountains in San Diego (Julian, CA),
and we already logged 1 road trip up there 2 weeks ago. The yellow sticker is something I brought over from the Volvo community, just a spoof on Ferrari done for kicks, no more...
I have a few more rides, but this one gives me more fun per liter than most of the others!

Thank you. My first choice was to go with something with a polished lip and some "mesh"/BBS-style, but after mounting up just a rim with no tire for fitment, I liked it.
Though if you know these rides, you know that this isn't OEM, it isn't really over the top, and it could pass for kind of an upgraded OEM wheel. I bought my ride at Longo, and they had half a million of these rides, 1/2 with wheels. Their wheel/tire package cost $1900-2400! That's crazy! Some other wheel/tire combos I found online weren't anywhere near that. I got a deal on Falkens, and with TPMS sensors & locks, my out of pocket was $674, and I still have my stockers for going up to the snow in Big Bear.

Thanks, Olie!
This was definitely unplanned, and it was by coincidence that I found the offset, etc to match. Crazy as it might sound, I enjoy this ride more than the Speed 3. Sure, I would love that turbo, but that clutch was very jumpy, and it was annoying, after a long day at work, dealing with it. No one "messes" with me in my white box, either!
