Good morning, all!

First post here..

I recently replaced the brake pad.. first time doing it. The braking itself is fine... but it has a bad squeal. Certain pressure gives off more squealing then other pressure.

I just replaced rotor and pad on my tC. And it works fine without any squeel.

The only difference;

The little metal clip on the original xB pads, i took those off and put them on the new pad.

tC, i tried without the metal clips.

Could the metal clips be the cause of the squeal?
