Lexus is 250/350 wheels
I am going to pick up some 2006-09 Lexus is 250/350 wheels with the factory sized rubber on them. The specs are as follows:
fronts - 18x8 - 45 offset - 18/40/225 tire rears - 18x8.5 - 45 offset - 18/40/255 tire I see several xBs on these in the 18" thread. I am thinking of going with either the Tein H (1.1/2.1) or the Tanabe DF (1.7/2.1) springs. Will those wheels fit with either of the springs without rubbing? I do not want to roll the fenders. Thank you! |
With a 45 offset you will have no issue with rubbing even with the DFs. I run 18x8 +40 with 225/40R18s and it doesn't even come close to the wheel well in the rear and has good clearance in the front as well.

Thanks for the reply Greg. I was looking at a used set but it turned out they had a fair amount of road rash and basically zero left for tread. I found a new set of 4 online in just the front size, 18x8, 45 offset. Factory Wheel Warehouse listed them as OEM replicas. They said same quality, without Toyota on the back of the rim. We'll see.
For tires I will go will 18/225/40s. I have read that using that size will be very close to the stock tire height. I would love to do the 35s but I have read they are about an inch taller than stock and do not want the speedo issues. I will be dropping it on the Tanabe DFs at the same time. Thanks for the advise! |
Well the wheels are in and are beautiful. Due to a change of heart I am not planning on going away from my 16s. I did lower on DFs rear and NF front and love the look and ride. When I get my post count high enough I will advertise in the garage sale section......
