Like the wheels, don't like your paint job at all...you are trying too hard...paint them all black, and throw some 225/40/18 tires on them and it will look sooooo much better...

- they were all black when I first put them on. I think they just disappear in to the car too much all black. Not really going for that look.
- there are 225/50/18s on there now. I think a 40 would be way too short, especially considering I won't be lowering the car. Unfortunately, medical issues stop me from getting in and out of a car that's too low. One of the reasons I went with the 18s is it actually raised the car a little bit.

I have 18x8, ET35 on the front of my xB...its a CLOSE fit to rubbing on the outside of the fender/wheel well.....i wouldn't even try 18x8 ET30....and if I were to run 18x8.5, i would run ET40-45....ET35 with the 8.5 inch wide wheel will rub on the outside fenders...

IMHO, the perfect fit is 18x8, ET40-45 with a 215/40 on the front...18x8.5 or 18x9 ET35 225/40 on the rear

OK, then how about this: would 18x8.5 work if they were ET38? That's the only size of Enkei Raijin that will seem to fit my car. i want to go as low offset as i can safely, and i would rather not go staggered.

Those should be okay not going to guarantee they wont rub the outside front fender if you are lowered. I would use 225/40-18 tires. Any wider and you will increase the likelihood of rubbing. They'll fit fine in the back.
Good choice on wheels....I like the Raijins. I am looking at Enkei TM7s as a possible next wheel..staggered though....

Ok it’s been a pretty long time since the last time I posted. I still have the xB but now own a 2015 STi Launch Edition. I just ordered new suspension for the xB from KSport coils to BC Racing coils
and sold the XXRS bought some 18x10.5 +19 Ambit wheels and here’s how it looks. But not for long because there going on the STi so I’ll be buying new wheels again for the xB.

i wouldnt do that...those will poke out past the fender on the front...if you want flush, then 18x8.5 either 40 or 45 offset will have you flush without outer fender rubbing (depending how low youre going in the future)...

This is my RS 7.0 on 18inch wheels from an Avalon sport. Just gotta put center caps in and get some new lugs. They work really well with the TRD springs.
