Default Plasti Dip Rims

I have some BBS 16" wheels that i am thinking of plasti dip too. Just wondering what are your thoughts, advice, and opinions. Also where do you guys jack up your XB2's and put the jack stands. I have not had to mess with my XB yet. I am use to putting some jack stands under full frame cars with axles or crossmembers i can jack on. Advice would be great.

I'm currently on NF210s with no lip kit.

I use my own scissor jack at the jack point under the passenger rocker panel to lift the car up a little bit. Then I use a big jack to raise the whole front of the car and use jack stands at the points under the rocker panels. Typically I just knock around until I find metal, then make sure it's a part of the chassis. After that, I use the scissor jack under the wishbone beam where the springs are on the passenger size to raise the rear. Then I use the big jack to lift the rear up and then drop in some jack stands, again looking for a good metal point. If I'm messing with the springs, I do NOT mount under the wishbone as that will restrict your servicing.

And as for Plastidip, just try it! It peels off everything anyway without damaging paint, etc.

I want to get some black rims, but i think i would rather just get new rims with an offset to put the edge of the tire even with the edge of the body. Just got to find some good price nice 16x7's is what i think all the 16" guys are running.

just a few i saw, i would either like black on the rim, or a bronze might look good against the purple

I feel like that black xB would go farther if it had chrome door handles and lost that exhaust.

I think when they go back in stock i will pick up a set of the red and put my 205/55/16's on them. That red looks good on the release series.

YES! Your current exhaust is atrocious and horribly detracts from your car. I like that you're trying to be unique, but it just does not work. I'm sorry.

That dual exhaust you have there is beautiful. Put that back on your car immediately. (If you want to go more unique, get different tips that stand out, chrome them up, etc. Chrome door handles, chrome tailgate garnish.)

Lefty29er, do you think i will be able to run with the 205/55/16's with those rims since i am not dropped as low as your black XB. Or will i have to get some smaller tires too, i just bought new tires no more then two months ago. Also thanks for all your help so far too.

you will be mad rubbing with them stock 205/55/16 fenders are gonna eat your tire and gonna mess up your fender. 195/50 or 195/45 if you are drop more than 2" would be the ideal
