Default tC 2011 18" Wheels on XB2 2011... Tire Size?

Going with some tC 2011 18" Stock Wheels and I'm wondering:

- which tire size do I need. 225/40R18 seems closest to OE diameter but I'm nervous about comfort. Opinions?

- Do I need spacers for a flush fit of will they they be a snug fit?

- Choosing between NF210s, TRDs, and Tein H-Tech... Don't care to scrape the ground... I just want to close the wheel gap a but without sacrificing comfort. I do a lot of road trips and I don't want to feel every bump up my spine...

225/40R18 should work well and I'd run the NF210s if you want to maintain a comfortable ride. The wheels may not be all that flush, but you won't have to worry about rubbing a single bit.
If anything, you could run a 10mm slip on up front and a 15mm slip on out back.

Just picked up the TC 2011 18" wheels... They look badass.. What's the widest tire I can go with? Am I being conservative with 225/40R18?

Anyone have any experience with Continental Extremecontact DW? Looks like theyr'e quiet, comfortable, performant, and last long.

I was looking at Toyo Proxes 4 but I hear they're loud, or Yokohama S-Drive but I'm not sure about those.. Any advice out there?

Am I being stupid with an ultra-performance summer? Should I be getting something more, um, conservative and long-lasting? I never track the car but I like good driving...

I owned some Proxes4s and they didn't last me long. I was super bummed. I'd run the Contis if you want something that will last, or the Yokohamas if you want something that will perform a little better.

My $.02.

S-Drives are a great tire for the money.

With this car, my focus is comfort and long lasting rubber. I couldn't care less if they're sticky... it's an Xb for god's sake!! lol

Let us know how those Contis work out for you!
