Default Is there any way to run and 18X9/18X11 combo?

Currently set up on Tein S-techs. Found a set of Simmons wheels from Australia, but they are for an SN95 (1999-2004) Mustang. I don't have any specs on offset or backspacing yet ,but the seller is supposed to get that information for me.

I told him I didn't think it was possible, but I thought I'd check. Is there any offset/tire combo that might work? I'm sure I'd have to stretch the tire and roll/pull the fender to get it to work, just thought I'd see what others thought as searching brought up nada.

It all depends on that offset. If the 11's are in the high 40's to mid 50's, it may be plausible. You'll have to do a bit of pulling, but you could make it happen. 11's are just huge for an xB.

I have a friend running 19x9.5's +25 with DF210's and 235/35R19 tires. I rolled and pulled his fenders a bit, but they need pulled a tad more.

Tire wise, i'd run 215/40's in the front and 235/40's in the rear.

i run a 18x10 +25 in rear, they do poke, so if if the offsets are anywhere near that, your gonna be poking out a grip

okay, yeah, so that's not gonna work. The wheels are 3 piece, but trying to find lips for already rare Australian wheels isn't going to be the easiest or cheapest thing in the world. I've always wanted a set of these wheels too. :*(

Thanks for the info kidd.

The staggered Mustang wheels are 17x10.5 +25mm, IIRC. If the Simmons are around 44mm offset, you should be okay. Run a stretched tire, roll and pull the fenders, done. Should fit.

Check Rotiform for new barrels. Great company to work with. However, they'll probably run about $300 a corner.

HOnestly, get some smaller non-Mustang sized tires, get a lil' stretch going, roll and pull, get some camber if the kits ever come out, and you could fit those. They are not that extreme, just the tires make em' look huge. But in my opinion, if you do decide to stretch tires and work your fenders, you are gonna have too go lower than just springs. Poke + Stretch + not lowered = Not good looking

If not, sell the rims to me, I'd rock em' on my future car!!

^^^Truth. I've been looking for a staggered set of Mustang Cobra wheels to run in the winter.
