My wife and I wish we could make it down for Exposed. We just talking today that we need to relocate cause FL has all the good shows, not to mention nice weather and a beach too!

Have any close up pics of the stretch on these?

Is there any rubber on those wheels? Lol! What size tires? We have way to many pot holes around here, I'd be sure to bust a rim rolling like that. Looks good though!

225/35R19. I GUARANTEE that we have just as many in Utah. You have to drive smart and not like the normal idiot. Have to pay attention.

That's the same size I run. Your's just looked smaller in the pics which is why I thought, damn, how does he not pop a tire on a daily basis?

+1 on driving smart, low profile is not for everyone for sure!

OK guys need help....... im on 18" OZ OZ ultraleggera wheels. I found a good deal at my local dealer for a set of 19" Flat Black TRD wheels. $195 a wheel. I placed the order without having to pay. But when i was there workers there told me i should stick with 18"s and im crazy for going 19". All kept saying it will ride like $h!t and my speedo will be off. Also whats the best tire size to keep it comfy and still daily drivin? Im lowered on Tanabe NF210's....

Please any help would be great

The car had the option of 19s, so don't listen to those idiots. The TRD wheels came with 235/35R19s but you could probably run a 225/40R19 and be fine. The 225/40R19 is slightly taller. The size difference could effect the speedo, but it won't be a large difference, 30.7mm to be exact. The speedometer change would be 4.86%.

The man i was hoping top answer my question! your option should i just use a 235-35 tire? also does the ride really change that much from going from 18-19?

I've been on the 19 " TRDs for about a year and still think the ride is fine. The speedo is off one mph @ 60 with the 35 series tire. My only problem is that the 19" tires are kind of pricey.

One other thing is that with the TRDs, your weight will go up about 25 pounds over the OZs.

Keep the Oz's. The TRDs are whack. No offense to anyone on them, but they're so boring and plain.

Whack.

I'd love to see the new setup!

I feel that I can say they're whack because I ran them for a year or so!

I've been on matte black TRD 19s for about a year now. I couldn't pass up the deal I got on them. $800 with the Toyo Proxes. They only had about 100-150 miles on them. Mike Vu who builds Scion show cars sold them to me. They were on one of his xBs he owns. Anyways. Honestly I sometimes feel like installing my oem 16" Scion alloys back on. Not so much because of the ride but because of the weight/handling. You can def feel the extra weight while accelerating, turning, etc. Kind of clumsy around the curves. I am on full TRD suspension and my car did handle alot better with the 16" Scion alloys. I've been looking for a set of the Scion 17s to install, but I'll probably end up keeping the TRDs.

And btw...make sure to keep psi up on them. Toyota calls for 39Front/37Rear on the 235/35/19 tires.
