Wheel/Tire fit check for RS 9.0
I want to put some new wheels on my RS 9.0, but need some advice. I'm thinking about going with this wheel (the gloss black + mirror):
From reading a couple of other threads, it seems like anything 9" or wider can cause fit issues. This wheel is available in 18x8 and 19x8.
Any suggestions on which size to get? I don't want to have to roll fenders. Would either size cause problems if I lower it a little bit later (something like NF210)?
Is there anything else I should watch for or consider?

I'm not an expert but I have the 19x8" TRDs which have a 48 offset. Those TSWs are plus 40 so you'll only poke 8mm more than mine. I seem to have plenty of room for lowering and the NF drop is pretty mild so I say go for it. However, I wouldn't listen to anything I say. Also 19s are expensive.

Sorry! I meant to say the 19" tires are more expensive. The 19" tires may be $200 more than the 18". I'm actually looking at 17" to get the weight down a bit. 19" wheels usually are heavy and will impact your gas mileage and acceleration and maybe handling as heavy wheels tend to bounce over irregularities (heavy things don't change direction quickly). Of course it depends on what is important to you. The 19" wheels probably look the best.

That makes sense. Thanks for the clarification. I hadn't thought about how much heavier the 19" wheels would be, and wouldn't have guessed the price of the tires differed that much.
I'd really like to have some tires that are quiet. I have a lot of road noise with the tires that came from the factory.
