Xxr wheel fitment ?

I have a 2010 7.0 xb that is lowered on trd and has the lip body kit. I was looking at 16x8 xxr 521 with a 20 offset also running a 205/55/16 tire. Will i be ok and will i have ne issues with rubbing? Also i was looking at the xxr 512 16x8 with a 0 offset with the same size tires. Will i rub at all?

PM Cionide, he will be able to tell you exactly. But let me know also, im interested too..lol

CIONIDE 02-11-2012 07:49 PM

16x8 +20 will poke about 1/2" in front and be pretty much dead flush in the rear.
16x8 with 0 offset will poke about 1.25" in front and about 3/4" in the rear.
I believe the 512's have been discontinued, but you may still be able to find them.
It's all a matter of personal taste, but I've never been a fan of major wheel poke, especially if you don't have an aggressively low stance... I vote for the 521 with +20 offset.

If your going to do a 20 to 0 mm offset why not go to a 17? 16 to me on this car is too small.

16 is small

It the my wife's car. We got it used last week and they put brand new tires on it. So for right now ill do 16's since the tires r new. Maybe next year ill do 17's , ill prob do the same wheels that r on my corolla s.

says who,?
i have run 20's and it faded into the crowd and the car never got looked at...
i went with a 16 with zero offset and i have multiple people a day either giving thumbs up while driving or asking about them when i stop. i personnally think 16 look better and dont effect your gas mileage or breaking.

Whats the width? Personally 20s are too big.

16x8 zero offset, i have air on the rear with df 210s in the front

Flyyota 02-12-2012 10:53 PM

They're XXR 002 wheels, and he has a side view pic in post #8 above.

depends on the drop. i think to run 16s you gotta have an aggressive drop to look good. stock height or a modest drop would make the wheels look small imo.

Code3Xb 03-14-2012 04:49 PM

I'm taking delivery of an army rock this week. Will these work with stock tires? I ultimately want these with air all around but am gonna do it in steps if possible.

Ideally I'd like to run these, stock tires and tanabe df's <---- will this work ??

EDIT: Changed my mind on these wheels as the offset available is too aggressive for what I'm using the vehicle for! Thanks anyway!

my set-up would be 16x8 +20 xxr 521 which is already ordered 2months ago, rubbers are 195/45 which i already got and its sitting in my living room, currently dropped on DF210 and soon (before i put on my wheels) gonna be on air (easystreet/scionpro) just waiting for a go signal :D

Those rims look nice. Too bad they don't have them in the gun metal.
