i noticed your bi-xenon kit (high & low beam) only comes with 2ea. ballasts. other kits i'm seeing have 4ea. ballasts, 2 for low, 2 for high. as i just purchased your kit last night, i'm curious as to the diffrence. some dealers suggest that with only 2 ballasts, the units will fry early on. any truth to this? also, whats the diffrence in the 35w ballasts you use and the 55w ballasts other companies offer? these are digital ballasts, correct?

The correct Bi-Xenon kit should only be one HID bulb. It either moves forward/inward or up/down. You can check the stock halogen bulb that is installed in the factory headlight that has high and low beams, it does the same as mentioned above.
There are some HID kits out there that uses 2 HID bulb in one housing (1 for high beam and 1 for low beam). This is the wrong setup for the High/Low headlights. Why?
1) Dual HID bulb will interfere with the beam pattern. For example, when the high beam HID is lit the lower HID bulb will interfere with the upper HID bulb's beam pattern.
2) Dual HID bulb will consume more power than originally designed. For instance, 55W is the factory setup for each headlight. When you have the Dual HID Bi-Xenon bulbs you will require 2 ballast for each headlights. Which you are consuming double the power consumption. 55W x 2 = 110W.
So to answer your question our Bi-Xenon has one HID bulb that moves up/down for high and low beam. This is why our Bi-Xenon kits uses only 2 ballasts. Since it's only 1 HID bulb our ballast won't get fried.
Yes, all our ballast are digital ballast and it's 35W. Back then we offered 55W and realized there's approx. 10~15% brighter compared to 35W. Cost wise 55W will be more expensive compared to 35W. That's why we now offer only 35W kits.

First the difference between Hi/Lo and Bi-Xenon are as follows:
Reg. Hi/Lo - Comes with 2 bulbs in one housing. HID bulb for the low beam and Halogen for the high beam. Cost $60

Bi-Xenon - Comes with 1 bulb. 1 HID bulb for both high and low beam. The HID bulb moves up for highs and down for lows.

The difference is the high beam.

Our current stock for H4 Bi-Xenon is 8000K, 10000K, and 12000K.

I read it a few more times and finally did notice the whole halogen/HID for the highbeam, thanks!

Do you happen to have any photographs comparing the highbeam of Hi/Lo VS Bi-Xenon?

Also, when do you think you'll have 5000k back in stock? I'm not a fan of the whole colored lighting, I'd just rather have white because it's easier on the eyes, infact 4300k would be preferred if your company does offer that.

Ya, I'm curious if you have any output beam pattern pictures. I like the look of the OEM D2R setups in other vehicles, but am concerned about excess light scatter of putting a D2R bulb in a halogen housing.

I currently don't have any D2R installed pictures. Any HID installed into a non projector headlight would experience somewhat of a scatter lights. Our HID has been through the beam pattern testing so the scatter light won't be as visible as others that didn't go through the beam pattern correction process.

Also, do your bulbs come with "casper shields" ? The ones that block the light at the bottom so it produces less scatter

I was under the impression that is what differs the D2R bulb from D2S. D2R's have the shield.

Yes, the D2R would have that shield sticker on the bulb. As for D2S there's nothing added on the bulb.

No it doesn't fit, unless you added in an aftermarket headlights. The factory bulb size for XD is H4 (aka 9003).

Okay, one last question before I purchase from you. Do the H4 Hi/Lo 5000k bulbs have any sort of shield on them?

Install instructions for your Bi-Xenon kit? Looks easy enough, but you have a positive wire battery connector and either a negative or ground wire connector I can't tell which. I wanna say its a ground wire but some instruction would be appreciated.[img][/img][img][/img]
