Frontal Paint Protection: ClearBra, Venture Shield, etc
I know this has been discussed and debated before, but everything I've read so far on the topic is pretty old.
What brand are you guys choosing? With every other company being a re branded whatever I've been searching hard and narrowed it down to like the top 2 brands, Venture Shield, and 3M but they both claim to be better than eachother, blah blah.
According to Venture Shield, Ford and GM use them, and VW just announced a partnership as well so I naturally want to lean towards them, but therein lies the problem: No installers/distributors near me in N. Colorado.
Any thoughts/insights or anything else I should be considering?

So I ended up getting a call from one of the main distributors for Colorado. Turns out in the last few years, 3M bought Venture Shield for their tape products, and consequently they now own the paint production product as well, that is to say 3M and Venture Shield are one and the same now, but their products do have some differences:
-VS has a glossier look, and blends a little bit better. 3M has a little bit more of an orange peel/matte look to it, so it's not quite as invisible
-VS can make bigger one piece sheets, i.e. if you wanted to do your whole hood in one piece
-VS requires a bit more care to retain its glossy look. 3M tends to not dull as much/as fast, and does not need as much upkeep.
-There are usually more 3M installers than VS, especially in the Colorado area.
Hope this helps anyone else looking for updated information on paint protection/clear bra for their Scions.
