I’m new here and I was needing some information on how to change the Tag Light Lamp assembly thing on my 2011 Scion xD, I can’t find any videos on it on YouTube and I would take it to the dealership and have them look at it and fix it
but I don’t wanna spend an arm and leg, I was gonna try and do this myself. I know nothing about cars and was just needing some help. Lol I bought new bulbs and two new lamp assembly’s, do I need anything else? TIA!

Either find someone who has thin arms (preferably a left hander) and you can reach into the panel covering and twist bulb a half turn and remove.
I wasn't able to remove mine (I'm a righty) as I couldn't leverage the proper twist dexterity (EG: imagine trying to use a scissors with the opposite hand. It's not strength but dexterity).
In that case, unclip the entirety of the back plastic panel and access the bulbs directly.
