Thanks for the support of the Scion family, we need picture comments at Myspace...We are going to install a Positrace stepp 3 GPS Tracking Device and have the professional service on the vehicle for $39.00 a month, the unit is from Germany and cost $475.00...

The company can be located here if anyone else needs peace of mind http://www.positrace.com/

We will take the car back after the install, hopefully this will be done before the end of December, The car can be fixed however we cannot get the miles back, we will post pictures after the car is fixed correctly.

http://www.myspace.com/wince1964 < - - - - Please review Album 2010 Scion XD Project, not finished!!! We could use a ton of comments.

I am sending the oil out to be analyzed by a lab, by law we have to give the shop a second chance to make it right however I think this is BS since we paid $3K for custom work the first time and the car should have looked perfect!!!

The whole experience has taken a toll on me and my wife, I cant even begin to imagine or truly understand why people act like this - - -> It only pays to be honest!!!!

After the car is done I plan on taken further action, I think they should pay for my Positrace stepp3 GPS Tracking Device $475.00 and a small monetary hard ship settlement for pain and suffering, my wife was put through hell

1. We were not given a choice - EX: I wanted to take the car in around December 11th to have service and to send the oil out to have it analyzed by a lab, instead the car was brought back 40 days later with 2003 miles, the car only had 748 miles when we dropped the car off at the custom shop on November 6th 2009.

F.Y.I - The dealership said the OIL was extremely dirty for that amount of miles and the Engine guard was not bolted in placed only shoved, so if the Engine Guard would have come free it would have possibly damaged our vehicle even further or someone elses property. SO please tell us who would have been liable ????

2. I fill the tank up with gas when I have 1/4 tank left with only Exxon or Shell, what did these people do???

3. When we received the car after the final purchase from the dealership it only had 33 miles so I never drove over 65 MPH so we could slowly break the car in to our satisfaction, what did they do???

4. They went through our personal stuff, items are now M.I.A - WHAT NERVE!!!

5. We never had the opurtunity to use the windshield wiper fluid, the car cam back with the sensor on stating the fluid reservoir was empty.

6. The car is now USED!!! We do not fill the same about this car because we were violated, when we first saw the car on the 2008 accessorie book we wanted to buy the car off the lot and have it customized - I guess its a SCION thing

7. The custom shop has the ability to do cars right, you should see their cars, why would they do a job at half measure considering theirs is close to perfect.

This right here would have sent me over the edge. That is simply not acceptable for ANY reason.

Trust me when I called and left him a message it was not a pleasant one, I will not settle for someone taking advantage...This is far from being over!!

I made a police report on 1-11-10 then I contacted the owner of the shop and told him I would bring the car in on Friday 1-15-10 with a contract I had written(4pages long) he said we can look at it which tells me he has no attention on signing.

On Friday I called and his phone said it wasn't receiving any calls, I then called his son and wouldn't you know his father got a second job, I had a talk with his son and as usual no one wants to take ownership, the shop is blaming a guy that is now out of the country for everything...How Convenient.

I have already made an Honest Assessment of this particular shop - They do not carry themselves in a professional manner, they are dishonest...The whole crew.

I called my insurance company on 1-16-10 since the car is trashed and filed a claim.

I tried to give them a second chance according to the laws of VA to make things right however I feel like I am chasing after them, the owner said the customer is always right...I will redo the project for free...As usual another LIE.

It is now time to sue and make this shop accountable for their actions.

Wow, sorry to hear that...Even though I live nowhere close to that side of the US, I think you should name the shop that way no other owners become potential victims like yourself...

Hope you get everything worked out...

Anyone attempting to do any custom work near Chesapeake or VA Beach in VA contact me first with the name of the shop you have in mind and I will then give you a heads up if it's the shop you need to avoid.

I am going to SUE so I can't display the shops name...

To be honest I can see where the insurance company is coming from. He was trying to modify his vehicle and an insurance company does not have to cover it. If you modify your suspension and say a strut fails causing you to wreck for whatever reason then the insurance company does not have to cover you.
