STICKY: DIY 2008 xD Headlight Bulb Replacement
Howdy,
For those that struggle with changing the headlight bulbs on your Scion xD like me, I found a site that documents it very nicely. It's nice because it clearly shows how to clip the bulb in and out.
Changing the bulbs are particularly difficult to do on the xD if you have gorilla sized hands like me...

As a side note, I called my local Scion dealership, Halterman's Scion, and asked them how much it would cost to have new headlight bulbs put in. The service manager told me they had to take the front bumper off the car to replace the bulbs to a tune of $100. for the labor alone. RIDICULOUS AND DISGUSTING!
It took me less than 20 minutes to replace both bulbs following the instructions above.
