I'll look into it for you. If i can't find the URBAN CRUISER badge, I can easily get you the netz front badge and the toyota rear badge. send me a PM and i'll give you a price quote and check in on the URBAN CRUISER letters for you

depending on the emblem, it could be 30-60 for one piece.

well considering the fact that if you went to a dealership and asked for an extra scion badge, itd be anywhere from 15-25 depending on which one you wanted. but the fact that it's coming straight from japan or in this case the UK, you have to add in shipping and handling. so...that makes up for the extra price.

I don't care where it comes from, it still won't be that car.

it'll always be a Scion xD.

just seems like a big waste of money, to me.
that money could buy an intake or go towards something else more worthwhile.

honestly the only differences between the Scion xD and the Toyota ist are the xD's bumpers and bits of its interior. everything else on that our car are pure toyota. all except for the fact that the iSt is RHD. regardless....if you think its a big waste of time and money then your solution would be to NOT spend money on it (which, before you retort, i know. you wont.) but other people enjoy that kind of thing and to THEM its worthwhile. in Japan, many enthusiasts choose to import items from the U.S. because THEY enjoy the USDM style of cars. its different to them, and to us, the Japanese counterparts are different. so it is worthwhile. just not worth YOUR while.

and honestly....an intake is only worth it if you have a full set up....intake/manifold/headers/catback....while it does free some airflow restriction, all you'd really need to do to gather this effect is take off the scuba pipe from the bottom of our intake...

so dont hate. if you dont like it then ignore it, because to others its worth the time and money to make their car unique in the states.

If I don't like it, I'll let people know. The world isn't always hugs and kisses.

the VIN will always say it's a scion, your registration will always say it's a scion, your insurance will always say it's a scion.
I'm not a fan of spending money for my car to still look stock.

I'm actually proud I have a scion, a brand no other large auto markets on the planet get.
no one else has our bumpers or badges or nomenclature.

my point wasnt to shut you up. my point is you need to chill and not hate on it so hard. if you have an opinion then good. it's good to think on your own and form an opinion rather than just follow the crowd. if youre proud to own a scion just say that, instead of going through the whole "why do people do this its a waste of money."

(And my point would be to become familiar with the rules here on ScionLife.com which frown on this sort of bashing of what other folks are interested in. Don't like it, move on. Very simple.)

my point wasn't to hate on anybody.

I'm sorry I had an opinion and voiced it.

again we're not trying to say DONT spread your opinion. we simply mean just dont do it in such a negative manner. like i said, saying "I have a SCION and I'm proud of that because -----" is perfectly fine. but the whole "Japanese badge conversions/etc. is a waste of money" is considered bashing. spread your opinion, its encouraged, just keep it simple and not so demeaning

so we got off to a bad start..but we can agree to disagree. what are your plans with your scion?

Opinions are good, and yours are as valid as anyone else's, Sideline, the suggestion was just not to voice it as putting down what someone else likes. That tends to get folks a little up-tight with no need.

No biggie.

(BTW, my Scion, Vanilla, is nearly stock, and has been since 2005.)

so far all I have is a piggies short shift block. I plan to do it as a simple daily with megan coils, space out a set of 18x8 +45 MB Weapons, do something about camber adjustment and correction, to give katchkillah a mainland run for his fitment/stance money.

I really am a nice guy.
I'm just opinionated.=]
