Default overheating issue

I have a 2010 Xd that started to overheat last summer, on the highway the temp would hit 245 degrees. I did the usual, changed the thermostat, still overheating. I flushed the system, still overheating. Even the radiator and cap. The fluid is circulating so the pump must be good. I thought that the sensor might be bad, so that was changed. The fan is coming on, so I am perplexed as to why this condition still exists, it did stop for a while, with the harsh Northeast temperatures, but it is starting to occur again. There is no water in the oil. Anyone else have this happen to them, I'm kind of at my wits end. BTW, the car has about 195,000 miles and other than this issue it still gets me back and forth to work in Brooklyn every day. Any thoughts or help are very much appreciated.
