I just checked out fast scions website.

The price listed is $300, so plus s&h and tax, the price will probably be around $350. But precision will cost $305 include everything.

I looked at the video from precision, and it sounds like strup might sound more aggressive, but I don't know exactly. What do you guys think?

I am really down for a muffler right now with my intake.

The Strup sounds deep and everyone who has heard it, loves it...And you know Strup makes a quality product, not saying that Precision does not...$299 is an awesome price for the Strup even if you have to pay for shipping...My mileage has improved approx 2-3 mpg also...

Looks like a really nice product and the sound is superb. Wish I would have waited for this product instead of buying the GReddy. Less expensive and nicer sound.

I like the way this is going...if someone wants an exhaust with a rumble then a TRD or precisionmuffler (mangaflow) is a good choice. Something a little more high pitch then a DC Sports or Strup exhaust is a good choice. Funny it seems exhaust and intakes are the only mods for the xD that are really taking off in popularity.

I don't know why Chris keeps posting in all the forums that the Strup is a high pitched exhaust...That is simply not true...Chris unless you have the exhaust, please don't post that and mislead people...I have posted numerous youtube videos and you can tell by the videos that it's NOT high pitched...Maybe your speakers are not working correctly...The exhaust has a very deep tone with a nice deep rumble...

"a little more high pitch" /= high pitched ricer sounding exhaust

Let me reword it so maybe you get the jist of what I'm saying. In the upper rpm band the Strup sounds more aggressive then the trd/mangaflow can style muffler. It is hard to tell by just listening to videos but I'm sure at WOT the Strup is louder and is a few hz higher frequency wise. I never said it was a high pitch weed wacker exhaust and I compared to the DC Sports exhaust which again is not a high pitch axle back.

Default cat-back custom

I got a quote from a guy here (atx) and he said around 400, that is with an exhaust tip and 2.0in piping from the cat out...not bad right?
the Strup exhaust sounds sooo sweet!!!
I am afraid if I let these guys put some kind of random tip that the car will sound gross.

Well add me to the plus one list. I just installed my strup as well. I upgraded from the precision muffler axle-back because if I didn't take my gf's driveway at an angle the tip would scrape a little. Naturally, I didn't think to use the oem hangers on it instead of the longer pm provided ones until I saw the strup instructions advising their use. Oh well....Either way, I really like it! It was raining today and I almost didn't want to install it because it's so gleaming out of the box. It seems a shame to go right out and get dirty road water all over it. Over all, it seems just a touch quieter than the PM from inside the cabin though my gf says it's louder when I pull up the driveway. I notice maybe a little bit better acceleration but I'm not sure if that isn't just me honking on the gas just to try it out.

On another note(and shameless plug), I have my PM axle-back sitting inside the strup box and wouldn't mind letting it go for even a ridiculous offer before I just take it to the metal recycling place. I've only had it 6 months or so. I have a shipping discount through work so FedEx 2-day ends up being around $35 to the west coast from here. Maybe less for a shorter distance. PM if interested we'll talk and I'll take pics etc.....

*EDIT* PM is sold. Thank you to sv650m!
